We're a small online and pop-up bookstore based in Naperville, Illinois, soon to be a brick-and-mortar this December 2024! We believe in preserving and appreciating history, spreading knowledge, and bringing people together via a shared love of books. Our lovingly catalogued collection is an eclectic mix of antiquarian and modern, traditional and new, solemn and lighthearted - much like our gentleman rodent mascot! We aim to embody the nostalgic charm and scholarly meticulousness of an old-fashioned bookseller while adding our own contemporary touch of humor, technology, and capybaras. Our specialization areas include science fiction, fantasy, and young adult books, among others.
In addition to our books, we aim to be a go-to shop for capybara lovers, with plenty of unique capybara gifts! We're one of the first independent shops in the US to feature a significant selection of capybara gifts and merchandise.
